Kenco is seeking a skilled CDL-A driver to join our team as a Dedicated CDL-A Driver Home Weekends 28 Hour Position. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting products from our distribution centers to vendor destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to vendor destinations.
  • Monitor freight for secure devices and straps to prevent damage during transit.
  • Follow company policy, participate in required trainings, and maintain a clean truck.
  • Maintain driver's daily logs, trip reports, and other documents as required.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailer.
  • Report any instances of damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
  • Communicate any delivery issues to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
  • Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with inspection requirements.
  • Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment.
  • Maintain professional conduct and attitude towards other motorists.
  • Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of tractor trailer Class A driving experience.
  • Class A CDL required.
  • Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
  • Pass Background and Drug Screening.
  • Clean driving records.
