Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair various electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Project Management: Oversee all field aspects of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with safety codes and building regulations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.
- Technical Documentation: Read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects.
- Schematic Creation: Create schematics in the event they are not available, or on new builds, to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports on completed assignments to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other related duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of electrical projects.
The Electrical Systems Specialist will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to meet the following physical demands:
- Regularly required to talk or hear, walk, and move from place to place.
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach above shoulders.
- Frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or touch.
- Must exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
