We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society's Sunset facility in Mandan, ND. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to patients, residents, staff, and visitors. This is a part-time position, working 12 hours per week, with a salary range of $23.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including baked goods, meats, and vegetables, following standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines.
- Ensure food quality, appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation standards are met.
- Perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary cooking and serving environment.
- Label and store food, equipment, and machinery properly.
- Work effectively with internal customers, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Display ability to cook, function, and thrive in a dynamic and changing culinary environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Basic math skills to measure ingredients accurately.
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
