We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Altru Health. As an Infusion Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily rounds to assess patient needs and provide quality customer service.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Assess and intervene in patient symptoms, including pain management.
- Identify and respond to early warning signs of patient deterioration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in discharge planning and education to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transfer patients as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and stooping/bending. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
