Goconfluent is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Medical Receptionist Float to provide essential support across multiple locations. This role involves covering various facilities as needed and includes cross-training as a clinical aide. The position offers approximately 15-20 hours of work each week.
This individual must be adaptable and prepared to receive notifications early in the morning for same-day shifts. While we strive to provide advance notice for scheduled coverage, flexibility is crucial for this role. Our float staff play a vital role in maintaining operational continuity, and we depend on their reliability for coverage. It is essential that candidates communicate their availability clearly.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing front desk scheduling
- Collecting co-payments and deductibles
- Performing data entry and filing tasks
- Engaging with patients and physicians via phone and in-person
- Maintaining overall organization of the clinic's office functions
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with insurance benefits, pre-authorization, and approvals
- Background in medical reception or administrative roles within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with general office equipment
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Commitment to treating all patients with kindness and respect
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on responsibilities
- Capability to relate to diverse populations regardless of background
Compensation: $13.50 per hour
