Position Summary:

This position entails working as a Patient Access Specialist within a healthcare facility. Key responsibilities include managing admissions, ensuring adherence to regulations, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate patient admissions
  • Gather insurance details and process medical orders
  • Manage the telephone switchboard while providing superior customer support
  • Pre-register patient accounts and clarify necessary documentation
  • Employ quality assurance systems for precision
  • Assess medical necessity utilizing appropriate software
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service
Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
  • CRCR certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment (Company Sponsored)
