Job Title: Traveling Wound Care RN Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Traveling Wound Care RN Specialist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Certified Rehabilitation RN, you will provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care for patients with medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, and rehabilitation and/or wound care needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient, family, and staff education on prevention of pressure ulcers and therapeutic support services.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, physicians, and other members of the treatment team to provide high-quality wound care.
  • Act as a resource for the treatment team and clinical staff, and assist with staffing as assigned.
  • Train and manage Wound Care Team Members, including orientation, competency validation, and in-service training.
  • Organize and direct the interdisciplinary Wound Care Committee.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Motivated candidates with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from an accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
