Asphalt Plant Groundsman

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Groundsman to join our team at Silver Star Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing ground operations, including greasing equipment, general laboring, equipment operation, and routine maintenance in and around the asphalt plant.

• Maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities
• Operation of heavy equipment such as bob cat, skid steer, man lift, water truck, and haul truck
• Pre and post inspections with proper documentation
• Performing upkeep of the plant and surrounding areas

• Good driving record
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary
• Ability to perform manual tasks in a safe manner
• Adherence to safety requirements and procedures
