Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Assist the Registered Nurse with circulating duties and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Participate in the setup and breakdown of surgical equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification
  • Must be licensed through the state of Virginia
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
