We are seeking a skilled Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our team at Veenstra and Kimm, Inc. Our team collaborates with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects.

We are looking for a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training who would work with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.


Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Develop plans and specifications for specific projects.
• Collaborate with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.
• Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required.
• Up to 10 years of civil engineering design experience preferred/desired.
• Iowa PE license or EIT certification or ability to obtain either within 6 months preferred.
• Previous roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection sewers, and water distribution design experience desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
