We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychological Testing Clinician to join our team at The Home for Little Wanderers. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing psychological evaluations and assessments to children and families in need.
Job Summary:The Psychological Testing Clinician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, including neuropsychological, intellectual, and emotional assessments. You will interpret results, provide written reports, and make recommendations for treatment and necessary services. Additionally, you will provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive therapy for clients and families in various settings, including clinics, schools, homes, and community programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote healthy development and well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Develop and maintain relationships with collateral agencies and programs to enhance services and outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of psychology to inform clinical decisions and interventions
- Masters degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
- Minimum of one year experience in psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
