Position Overview:

Your proficiency will be essential as you assess shore-based C4I system enhancements. You will refine your capabilities in process development and analytical tools while gaining insights into cognitive and analytical methodologies in this critical mission. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance and support for the governance of modernization processes across a range of technologies, including communications, networking, intelligence, meteorology-oceanography, and computer processing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching, developing, and maintaining configuration management data in a centralized repository.
  • Validating authoritative data for systems or subsystems and implementing best practices in configuration management.
  • Managing related applications and supporting the modernization of C4I systems through thorough review and analysis of installation documentation.
  • Collaborating with Program Offices and shore sites to address any installation or documentation challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance and modernization role within a Navy Functional Command, Navy Component Command, or Navy Echelon III or higher.
  • At least 3 years of experience addressing issues related to the Navy Data Environment (NDE), Automated Work Notification (AWN), or Naval Information Warfare SYSCOM/PEO Integrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with the OPNAV Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Capability to prepare presentations and documentation for client engagement.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an action officer in military maintenance and modernization within a Navy Functional Command, Navy Component Command, or Joint, Service, or Echelon III or higher.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity performing Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) functions.
  • Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across various organizations.
  • Expertise in providing strategic advice on complex issues, particularly in process improvement contexts.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefing and documentation purposes.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
