We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Cashier to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, escorting them to their tables and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Monitors guest needs and the flow of the restaurant, seating guests accordingly and delivering menus and kid packs as needed.
  • Performs restroom checks, answers phone calls, and maintains a clean and organized lobby, bakery, and retail areas.
  • Practices safe food and beverage handling, communicating effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Handles cash and credit transactions accurately, accounting for all receivables and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of related experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent guest service skills and experience, with the ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions, and have strong menu knowledge.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in a POS system.
