About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist PRN to join our diagnostic lab team at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality results.

Job Summary

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and a commitment to providing top-notch service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology and a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, complex, or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological, and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.
  • Communicate effectively with other care providers to provide continuity of patient care and meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed.
  • Conduct related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
  • MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
