Full-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care.

About the Role

As an occupational therapist with Amedisys, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized plans of care that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, including assessments, goal development, and intervention planning.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Supervise home health aides as needed to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with Amedisys' policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state where you will be working.
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
  • Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists.
  • One year of related occupational therapy experience, with a focus on home health care delivery.
