KV Van Driver

Job Summary

Kennebec Explorer is seeking a skilled KV Van Driver to join our team. As a KV Van Driver, you will be responsible for operating an Agency-owned vehicle to transport clients to and from appointments as assigned and assisting clients and their belongings to and from the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from appointments as assigned, ensuring timely and safe arrival
• Assist clients and their belongings to and from the vehicle, including passengers using mobility aids
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained, adhering to Agency standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners
• Participate in Agency-approved training and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Must be at least twenty-one years of age and have a minimum of one-year experience as a licensed driver
• Have a good driving record with no serious or recurring moving violations
• Physically able to assist passengers in and out of the vehicle, including those using mobility aids
• Ability to pass an Agency-approved physical examination, pre-employment drug screening, and pass DMV, State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health & Human Services, Sex Offender Registry, and fraud background checks
