Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. As an Accounting Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Entry: Perform daily entry of cash receipts into our ERP system and work with Sales Managers to manage the accounts receivable aging.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly sales commissions calculation spreadsheet and assist with monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Accounting Support: Assist with month/quarter/year end close by performing journal entries and reconciliations, including Received Goods Not Invoiced.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory in-transit transactions/tasks and assist with project to refresh our customer sales tax exemption certificate matrix.
  • Administrative Support: Serve as a backup to the Accounts Payable Assistant, create and/or maintain manuals for all AP/AR tasks, and assist with the company's annual business registration process for multiple states.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperate with colleagues on the finance/accounting team and interact effectively with other employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access knowledge a plus.
  • Financial Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting regulations and standards.
  • Soft Skills: Self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
