Production Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Technician to join our team at West Fraser, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce oriented strand board (OSB)
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and clean-up on equipment
- Work safely and effectively in a team environment
- Problem solve and troubleshoot equipment and issues on a regular basis
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Complete shift paperwork and recordkeeping
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills and cross-train
