Job Title: Firearms Associate

Join our team at Sportsman's Warehouse as a Firearms Associate in the Hunting Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring each customer receives a friendly and welcoming experience.
  • Process and replenish merchandise, monitoring floor stock to maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Ensure accuracy when completing employee and customer portions of the 4473 form.
  • Maintain security of the hunting department, including the gun counter and firearm rooms.
  • Communicate customer requests to management and perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Assist customers in selecting products and provide knowledge of products carried, using company sales techniques.
  • Assist in maintaining overall department cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide basic knowledge of scope mounting and firearm maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customers and co-workers.
  • Basic understanding of proper cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to assist in mounting and maintenance of all firearms.
  • Demonstrate exceptional merchandise techniques, including organization and pricing.
Education and Training:

A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is recommended. Sales training provided by Sportsman's Warehouse is required.
