We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at WellSpan Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, direct, and coordinate patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Recognize and treat physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
- Assess patient education needs and utilize patient education resources.
- Participate in unit-based initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- ACLS required for Cardiovascular Services, CCU, Device Clinic, Emergency, IMCU, FBS, Tele Observation, PACU/SDS, or achieved within one year of start date.
- Previous nursing experience in specialty area preferred.
- Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills required.
