Position Overview:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the effective execution of value-added service (VAS) line assignments and projects. This position is essential in establishing a cohesive work team by setting clear objectives, providing training, and ensuring continuous development for the operators.

Shift Details: 1st Shift: Mon-Sat 7:30am-7:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assigns project and line tasks, operates supervisory stations, and provides coverage for warehouse LMI as necessary.
  • Balances workloads across project lines and shifts to optimize resource allocation.
  • Develops and implements a strategic plan of action for the shift.
  • Reviews manpower schedules to ensure that shipping and receiving operations are conducted efficiently.
  • Conducts regular tours of the warehouse to assist with inventory management, address inquiries, resolve issues, facilitate urgent order processing, and identify sources of damage.
  • Establishes priorities and makes critical decisions regarding inventory rotation, manpower deployment, and equipment use, while correcting any documentation errors.
  • Handles moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products, and operates material handling equipment such as slip-sheet attachments, clamp attachments, pallet jacks, or other powered equipment.
  • Performs manual lifting of products to fulfill orders and verify freight quantities.
  • Maintains company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred prior experience in a lead role.
  • Proficient forklift operator with comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment.
  • Strong background in order processing and shipping & receiving protocols.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Capable of delegating responsibilities and assigning work tasks.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, and transportation, with manufacturing experience being advantageous.
