Part-time Optometrist Opportunity

FYidoctors, a leading eye care practice, is seeking a part-time optometrist to join our team in the Northridge and Burbank area. As a part-time optometrist, you will have the flexibility to float between clinics, covering for multiple doctors throughout the area.

Responsibilities:
  • Cover vacations for multiple doctors in the Northridge and Burbank area
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
  • Prescribe treatment to maintain, improve, and correct vision and manage other ocular disorders
  • Effectively make recommendations and communicate to dispensary staff
  • Provide a complete clinical record of all procedures, findings, prescriptions, recommendations, and patient counselling
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
  • Current California Optometry license
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems
Schedule:
  • Part-time floating schedule; specific days negotiable
  • 14 or more patients per day; 30 min exams
  • Up to five days per week; Mon-Sat
Compensation:
  • $500+/day
