Baptist Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinic Specialty Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care and support in our Rheumatology clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with physicians and clinicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Enroll patients in specialty programs to optimize clinical outcomes.
- Educate pharmacy teams on specialty services and support billing specialists and technicians.
- Provide initial medication counseling and regular reassessments to ensure therapy appropriateness.
- Coordinate medication therapy adjustments and refer patients to financial counseling for copay assistance.
- Apply principles of continuous quality improvement to enhance job performance.
- Kentucky and/or Indiana Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
- 1-3 years related work experience or completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy residency program preferred.
- Experience in ambulatory clinical pharmacy practice and disease state specialty experience preferred.
