Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinic Specialty Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care and support in our Rheumatology clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and clinicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Enroll patients in specialty programs to optimize clinical outcomes.
  • Educate pharmacy teams on specialty services and support billing specialists and technicians.
  • Provide initial medication counseling and regular reassessments to ensure therapy appropriateness.
  • Coordinate medication therapy adjustments and refer patients to financial counseling for copay assistance.
  • Apply principles of continuous quality improvement to enhance job performance.
Requirements
  • Kentucky and/or Indiana Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
  • 1-3 years related work experience or completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy residency program preferred.
  • Experience in ambulatory clinical pharmacy practice and disease state specialty experience preferred.
