Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms, assisting physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease, and providing exceptional patient care. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms
  • Perform stress echocardiograms
  • Perform IV starts for Dobutamine stress testing
  • Recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms
  • Operate Ascend porting and other non-invasive procedures and equipment
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree
  • Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT)
  • CPR certification
  • IV experience with saline contrast
  • Experience in stress echo, dobutamine stress echo, and adult echo
