About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Neonatal Physician to join our team at a prestigious medical facility in Macon, GA.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement evidence-based practices
  • Contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures
  • Mentor and educate staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Active Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatology (within 5 years of residency completion)

Please note that this is a full-time position, with a work schedule of 26 weeks on-site and 26 weeks off-site per year. The selected candidate will also be required to participate in an every-other-night call rotation.
