Overview: The Lead Project Scheduler will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the development of project timelines in partnership with stakeholders and team members. This position involves monitoring and evaluating progress against established timelines, performing scheduling analyses to identify potential risks, and collaborating with project leadership to ensure project advancement.

  • Construct project timelines utilizing work breakdown structures and Critical Path Method principles
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders and project teams
  • Engage with various departments to formulate comprehensive schedules
  • Establish schedule metrics and oversee critical path tasks
  • Facilitate constructability assessments and contribute to project budget submissions
  • Revise project schedule dashboards and monitor progress at both detailed and summary levels
  • Work with project teams to recognize events and assess change order implications
  • Offer assistance and direction to project users in the utilization of scheduling software

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Scheduling Certification is advantageous
  • Skilled in scheduling software tools
  • Experience with large-scale construction initiatives
  • Familiarity with building construction, materials, and systems
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines

Physical Requirements: The Lead Project Scheduler must possess the physical capability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs and ladders. The role requires the ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and perform various manual tasks.

Work Environment: The work setting for the Lead Project Scheduler will encompass both construction sites and office environments, with potential exposure to various elements. Adherence to company safety protocols and regulations is mandatory.
