Job Summary:

Solomon Page is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN in the Med Surg unit. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Med Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current Rhode Island license
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
