The **Customer Service Representative** plays a vital role in supporting sales cycles by facilitating customer orders and basic account servicing. This individual will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and experience in manufacturing or similar environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with customers, collecting information and product specifications.
  • Receive and review purchase orders from customers via email, fax, or phone.
  • Process new purchase orders into the system, including delivery and shipping requirements, and notify relevant personnel.
  • Route supplies, job jackets, and materials to production areas.
  • Address inquiries and complaints promptly, providing excellent service and follow-through.
  • Prioritize workload as needed, selecting alternatives to best meet business needs.
  • Initiate billing processes, verify shipping reports against packing lists, and review customer transaction reports.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or similar environments, preferably in printing or packaging industries.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Effective presentation and writing skills, ability to calculate figures, and read measurement devices.
