As an Instructor of Young Minds at the Mahaska County YMCA, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of tomorrow's leaders.

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of young children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth and cognitive development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• A two-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age and possess a valid criminal background check.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, Mandatory Abuse Reporting, and Child Abuse prevention training are required within 30 days of hire.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000-$70,000 based on experience.
