Compensation and Benefits

During our comprehensive training program, you will earn between $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on your prior experience. After completing the training, your hourly wage will rise to $18.50 to $19.50 per hour. Role Overview

As a Behavior Technician at Jumpstart Autism Center, you will work directly with children on the Autism Spectrum. Your role will involve teaching essential skills such as language development, functional communication, and social behaviors in an engaging and playful environment. Utilizing evidence-based methodologies like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Precision Teaching, you will create meaningful and lasting impacts for our learners and their families. You will collaborate closely with other Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who will design and supervise individualized programming tailored to each child's unique behavioral and educational needs.

Work Schedule

This full-time position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a guaranteed 30-40 hours of work each week, with no weekend or evening commitments.

Qualifications

At Jumpstart Autism Center, we recognize that not everyone has a background in psychology or early childhood education. Therefore, we offer an extensive paid training program for all our Behavior Technicians to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). We are looking for individuals who are reliable, eager to learn, and motivated to create positive changes in the lives of children with exceptional abilities. A growth mindset, compassion, and a willingness to engage in our interactive training are essential for success in this role.

Requirements include:

  1. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle that is registered and insured.
  2. A high school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required).
  3. Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
