Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Caribbean Food Delights is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our high-speed frozen food manufacturing plant in Tappan, Rockland County, NY.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience to assist in the upkeep of our plant's equipment in accordance with best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
