At CarMax, we're seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every vehicle that leaves our lot is safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, using your expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to solve technical challenges and meet production deadlines.
  • Develop your skills and expertise across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Adhere to and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and, where required by State/Local law, ASE Certifications.
