Matrix Providers is seeking a skilled Pediatrician to join our team of healthcare professionals providing services to Military Service Members and their families at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA.
Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified Pediatrician to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and annual physicals, including patient education and counseling.
- Diagnose, treat, and prescribe within your scope of training and privileges.
- Order diagnostic tests and refer patients as necessary.
- Teach and mentor medical staff and provide in-service training and educational lectures adhering to clinical protocols and standards.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. or Canada.
- Successful completion of an accredited internship and residency program in Pediatrics.
- Clinical competency within the past two years in Pediatrics, with at least 32 hours of patient treatment within the specialty in the last 24 months.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine as a Pediatrician.
- Board Certification: American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate: $175.00 - $180.00 per hour IC.
- Full-time Independent Contractor employment status.
- Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour shifts (including an uncompensated 30-minute meal break), between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
