Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol the facility grounds in a company vehicle to provide a visible presence and deter potential security threats.
  • Assist guests and team members in need, including providing first aid and responding to emergencies.
  • Monitor the gaming floor and parking lots to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, and report any unusual conditions or hazards to management.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

As a Security Officer, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous security experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
