Job Summary

This position involves assisting surgeons during surgical procedures and performing duties according to standardized hospital policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role
  • Perform all Cardiothoracic surgery-related duties with precision and attention to detail.
  • Complete annual performance reviews as directed by physicians.
  • Take on additional responsibilities in the Cardiac OR, including circulating and scrubbing.
  • Accurately prepare case carts and maintain clinical competence through participation in surgical procedures.
  • Participate in call rotations and engage in preoperative assessment and planning for selected surgical patients.
  • Identify safety hazards and initiate preventive and corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Active RNFA license and CA RN License, CNOR Certificate, BLS, ACLS.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated Salary: $101,000 - $150,000 per annum.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and more.
  • Incentives: Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
