Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant Specialist to join our team at Tarrant Neurology Consultants, PA.

About the Position

This is a full-time role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a Clinical Assistant Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team.

The estimated salary for this role is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient Check In / Patient Check Out
  2. Handle high volume incoming calls
  3. Schedule New Patient Appointments & Existing Patient Appointments
  4. Schedule Office Procedures
  5. Collect Copays/Deductibles/Coinsurance/Balances
  6. Obtain New Patient Referrals
  7. Complete Prescription Authorizations
  8. Refill Medications
  9. Complete patient referrals for therapy, imaging, and other services as required
  10. Room Patients, complete vitals and document EMR (E-Clinical Works)
Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Medical Assistant training (Preferred )
  • 1 year of Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • EMR Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
