Position Overview
We are in search of a Senior Controls Engineer to spearhead our control systems development initiatives and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our offerings. This is a hands-on role where you will be intricately involved in both high-level architectural decisions and the daily implementation of control strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated control systems for our automated material handling solutions.
- Develop and optimize firmware and C++ code for control systems operating on embedded platforms and industrial PLCs.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with hardware.
- Lead the creation of control algorithms for motion control, process control, and system automation.
- Contribute to the product roadmap and technical strategy for control systems.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and safety of control systems through thorough testing and validation.
- Participate in all phases of the control system development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
- Work closely with the project implementation team to guarantee smooth deployment and commissioning of systems at customer sites.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in controls engineering, with a robust background in C++ and firmware development.
- Expertise in developing control systems for industrial machinery and automation.
- Proficiency in C++ programming for embedded systems and industrial controllers.
- Strong understanding of control theory, feedback systems, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with industrial automation platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff).
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for industrial machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and capability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
