Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis
Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services
Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment
Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome
Educate patients and families about respiratory health and provide information about community support groups and other available programs

Requirements:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent years of experience and education
Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Respiratory Care Practitioner - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
