The incumbent will be responsible for delivering independent vocational rehabilitation counseling to a diverse clientele, ensuring that they receive tailored support to secure suitable employment. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of medical, psychological, and vocational information to establish eligibility for services.
  • Developing and implementing Individual Plans for Employment in collaboration with clients, focusing on achieving meaningful employment outcomes.
  • Providing expert guidance on vocational rehabilitation strategies and resources available to individuals with disabilities.
  • Facilitating job placement opportunities through effective job analysis, development, and market research.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employers to create job opportunities for clients.
  • Managing case records and client information with a focus on confidentiality and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of two years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities. Advanced degrees and additional experience in vocational rehabilitation or related fields are preferred.
