Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Tampa, FL facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including minor building and equipment repairs, racking, welding, electrical work, and minor truck repairs. This role ensures that the facility remains safe, operational, and in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor repairs to the building's infrastructure, including fixing doors, windows, walls, and flooring.
  • Install, repair, and maintain racking systems used for storage or operations.
  • Perform basic welding tasks for minor facility and equipment repairs.
  • Conduct minor electrical repairs, including replacing light bulbs, switches, and outlets.
  • Perform minor repairs on company vehicles, such as replacing mud flaps, light bulbs, mirrors, and other small mechanical parts.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, vehicles, and facility systems to identify and address issues before they become serious.
  • Ensure the facility adheres to safety regulations by performing safety checks, keeping maintenance areas clean and orderly, and documenting inspections and repairs.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed effectively.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic experience in welding, electrical work, and mechanical repairs.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for building and equipment repairs.
  • Understanding of safety regulations, particularly in electrical work, welding, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge, especially for light truck repairs.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to address issues across various maintenance areas.
