Job Title: RN Operating Room Circulator Full Time Position

We are seeking an experienced Circulating OR Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a Full time capacity at Lawrenceville Surgery Center.

Job Summary:

The Circulating OR Nurse plays a crucial role in the surgery setting, ensuring the smooth operation of procedures and maintaining a safe environment for patients. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all patient paperwork is completed, including consent forms.
  • Document procedures and patient information during the procedure.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety procedures are met.
  • Replenish surgical supplies as needed during the procedure.
  • Verify instrument count and complete charting after the procedure.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Georgia Nursing License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Understanding of aseptic technique and its implementation.
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
  • Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
