The Floor Maintenance Specialist is responsible for executing designated tasks related to the cleaning and maintenance of various floor surfaces.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must fulfill all criteria for approval to work in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten-year employment history if available

• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided

• No educational qualifications such as a high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service

• One year of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs assigned tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning of floors.
  • Assists with special projects as required and is open to undertaking additional duties as assigned.
  • Informs management about the need for minor or major repairs or enhancements to building systems.
  • Develops and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Adheres to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • The technician must be adaptable and willing to carry out all assigned tasks.
  • Conducts cleaning of building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Follows guidelines for using chemical cleaners and equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floor surfaces.
  • Requests necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • May be required to perform basic repairs.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

This position is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.
