Role Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to deliver comprehensive medical care to patients, facilitating their recovery from acute conditions while managing chronic health issues effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients by gathering detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and reviewing existing medical records.
  • Order necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to accurately evaluate patient conditions.
  • Analyze and synthesize clinical data to formulate appropriate diagnoses and treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with fellow physicians and specialists to ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Document all clinical findings, treatment plans, and relevant information in patient records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, expected outcomes, and preventive measures.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans through follow-up evaluations and diagnostic reviews, ensuring timely and cost-effective care.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to physician assistants, nursing staff, and interns regarding patient care practices.
  • Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the financial health of the practice by promoting fiscal responsibility and contributing to financial objectives.
  • Engage in organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing quality improvement across the practice.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements associated with the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the practice's goals.

Qualifications:

Required Experience: Minimum of three years in a relevant medical role.
Desired Experience: Previous experience as a staff physician is preferred.


Education and Credentials:
  • Doctorate in Medicine (Professional)
  • Valid Physician License
  • Substance Control Registration

Working Conditions:
  • Requires manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Involves some occupational risks.
  • May require physical effort, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Exposure to various environmental factors typical in a healthcare setting.
