Ebara Pumps Americas Corporation is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for proactively seeking and implementing improvements throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define opportunities for improvement and collaborate with multiple levels within the organization to implement changes.
- Collect data, conduct comprehensive analysis, and design & document controls to maintain solutions.
- Prioritize projects while maintaining Operations' demands to maximize resources, machine uptime, and efficiencies.
- Lead teams of indirect employees and participate in physical labor required for projects.
- Manage capital projects, specify/design equipment, secure quotations/procurement, and manage financial budgets.
- Establish ISO processes, operating procedures, and assembly instructions.
- Perform time studies to analyze production times, staffing requirements, and calculate costs for management.
Requirements:
- BSIE or equivalent from accredited school or university.
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience in an Industrial engineering capacity.
- Three-dimensional CAD experience with Solid works and/or ACAD.
- Experience using System Applications and Products (ERP such as SAP) software.
- Above average computer skills including Adobe Acrobat and all Microsoft office products.
- PLC programming experience along with sound industrial control knowledge.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experienced in an ISO environment.
Working Conditions:
This position operates both outdoors and in a professional, temperature-controlled, warehouse setting. Employee will have their own workstation, office, or cubical space and equipped with basic office equipment. Physical labor as required. Occasional travel may be required for supplier visits as well as an extended or flexible work schedule over the traditional 8 to 5 Monday through Friday workdays.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift to 50lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing/sitting/bending.
