EHS Technician

We are seeking an experienced EHS Technician to join our team at Jabil. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments, inventories, and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Utilize software programs to update documents and create new documentation.
• Maintain data on SDS, Hazcomm, accident reports, and corrective actions.
• Assist in providing training on environmental and safety-related subjects.
• Prepare reports for agencies and internal documentation.
• Maintain files and documentation records.
• Oversee the Personal Protective Equipment program.
• Assist in developing new programs and procedures.
• Work within established guidelines for the continual improvement of the Environmental Health and Safety Department.
• Oversee the Ergonomics Program and conduct workstation audits.
• Oversee the Fire Suppression and extinguisher inspection program.
• Assist in reviewing and participating in the Emergency Response Program.

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in EHS or a related discipline preferred.
• Some experience working in an EHS environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills building reports.
