Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series in General Obstetrics and Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care at UCI faculty practice, GYN inpatient care, and supervise residents and medical students in the only academic medical school in Orange County, California.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include:
• Providing a full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care at UCI faculty practice and GYN inpatient care
• Supervising residents and medical students in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Participating in scholarly activities and contributing to the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, teaching, and research
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an MD, a California medical license, and be American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology eligible or certified. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong interest in serving the diverse populations in our community and a commitment to the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, teaching, and research.
