Job Summary

Lakeland Companies is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and grinding enclosures, sheet metal fabrications, and other component parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret component part drawings to ensure accurate welding and grinding
  • Operate a torch, plasma cutter, and other tools to complete tasks efficiently
  • Identify and address quality issues, directing them to the supervisor for corrective action
  • Focus on quick and quality productivity while maintaining a safe working environment
  • Ensure all parts are properly marked and labeled
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of welding experience
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing production or willingness to learn
  • MIG welding and TIG welding a plus
  • Ability to operate a forklift a plus
  • Basic computer skills a plus
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
