- Execute venipuncture, blood glucose testing, and point-of-care testing as per established protocols.
- Assist registered nurses with patient elimination needs, including urinary catheter management and bedpan assistance.
- Operate sterilization equipment and maintain the integrity of instruments.

Physical and Environmental Considerations
This role may involve occasional exposure to challenging physical environments, including noise and temperature variations. The position may require handling potentially hazardous equipment and exposure to biohazardous materials, necessitating strict adherence to safety protocols. Physical demands include frequent lifting and carrying of up to 75 pounds, as well as various movements such as bending, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
Education & Certification Requirements
No prior experience is necessary. Candidates must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the Mississippi State Department of Health and complete CPR training (Heartsaver or BLS) within the initial 90 days of employment.
