Department Head

Blain's Farm & Fleet is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Head for our Children's Division. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase merchandise that meets customer needs and drives sales
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Provide coaching and training to sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Maintain a safe and secure store environment, including adhering to loss prevention policies and procedures
- 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
