Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Specialist - Physical Therapy to join our team at InterMed, P.A. in Portland, ME.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$115,000 depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories, performing tests and measurements to assess strength, range of motion, balance, and other factors. Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Prevention and Education: Participate in injury prevention programs, including ergonomic assessments, wellness screenings, and employee education initiatives. Teach patients how to use assistive devices and instruct them on exercises to perform at home.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patients' privacy.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current State License as a Physical Therapist
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience in outpatient settings preferred
  • Experience in ergonomics or industrial settings an asset
